Founder and Principle Advisor:

Michael Bennett is the Founder and Principal Advisor of Bennett Global Strategies (BGS) and is a distinguished leader in both the public and private sector. As a former Snapchat Global Security Executive, he oversaw the development and implementation of due diligence, crisis response, and business resiliency strategies across Snap's global network of 62 business locations, supporting 5000 employees worldwide. Michael enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1991 and proudly served until 2019 retiring as a senior officer. He's held senior executive roles at ODNI, DIA, NSA, and DHS. His distinguished career leading global intelligence operations, advising senior National Security Leaders, managing geopolitical risk and crises span the globe from Iraq and Afghanistan to the Asia Pacific, and Haiti where he was the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attache'. Michael was the first Coast Guard Fellow at the Defense Intelligence Agency's Center for Strategic Intelligence Research and later served as a National Security Agency Director's Fellow. Michael is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, and the Department of State Meritorious Honor Award and Benjamin Franklin Award. Michael holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence Studies (MSSI) and a graduate certificate in Chinese Intelligence Studies from the National Intelligence University and is an alum of the Tuft's University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy Global Master of Arts Program. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Environmental Science from Webster University in St. Louis.
